Miss Woods and Miss Masterson led today’s highly entertaining assembly about the Ski Trip which took place in the February half term break.
A party of 41 girls and six teachers went to Prato Nevoso in Northern Italy. There was a mix of skiing abilities and on the first day, they were sorted into groups. Over the course of the week, the girls in the three beginner groups managed to learn how to ski, and two groups had managed to successfully conquer a black run! Meanwhile, both the intermediate and advanced groups made excellent progress both on the slopes as well as off-piste and there were many humorous and memorable moments.
Miss Woods and Miss Masterson showed us a video of the trip which captured how much fun everyone had, as well as highlighting some of the skills girls gained from going on such a trip – resilience, leadership, teamwork, perseverance as well as experiencing a different language and culture and stepping out of their comfort zone.
It looks like they had a great time!
